Ntdll.dll errors
In this quick guide I’d like to show you how to fix almost any ntdll.dll crash with a faulting module and/or related errors. First I’d like to explain a little bit about this error, why it happens, and then of course how to repair it.

To repair this error:

Step-1: Download and install this repair tool
Step-2: It’ll scan and detect the source of your ntdll.dll error
Step-3: Click 'Fix All'

What is this file anyway…?
Ntdll.dll file is the acronym of NT Layer Dll. As you may already understand this file was developed by Microsoft and it is part of your Windows system (It contains NT Kernel functions). It is usually located under the following paths (pending your Windows OS version):Ntdll.dll File

C:\Windows\System32
C:\Winnt\System32
C:\i386 folder

Errors related to this file
While most PC users report that this error pops up whenever they start up or exit Internet Explorer (iexplorer.exe error message), this isn’t necessarily the single source to this problem. It might popup randomly before, after and/or while using any other application including Firefox as one example.

Errors related to this file usually occur in Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 and usually include the “faulting application” error message.

What causes this ntdll.dll crash with a faulting module?
There are so many reasons, but in most cases this error results from a damaged registry and/or a Malware infection.

What happens is that one of your programs tries unsuccessfully to ‘call’ this dll file due to one of the reasons that I’ve just indicated.

What to do in order to stop it?

(1) First of all I'd suggest the very basic step of scanning your PC for possible malware infections. I have no idea which AV you're using, but I personally use Microsoft Security Essentials which is Microsoft's free AV.

(2) Now, replacing that file by searching for it on Google isn’t recommended – you might download an obsolete or virus infected file that might cause you even greater problems…

(3) Finding the problem in your registry system is like trying to find a needle in a haystack…

What always works with this error would be reinstalling your entire Windows system… but fortunately there are more elegant ways to handle it:

The following Windows errors repair tool’s expertise is repairing dll errors such as this ntdll.dll crash with a faulting module by detecting and repairing a damaged Windows registry, Malware and damages caused by Malware.

Tip!
Just to be on the safe side, make sure that all your system and device drivers are intact and up-to-date. Obsolete and/or corrupt system/device drivers in many cases cause dll errors and might even crash your entire Windows system. The above repair tool detects and replaces problematic drivers.
